Overview
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser. SmartBay also uses browser storage to support application preferences and temporary state. What is stored depends on the features you use and whether you sign in.
Essential storage
The application uses essential authentication cookies to maintain independent staff and external sessions. These allow the service to recognise the appropriate signed-in context. Clearing or blocking them can sign you out or prevent authenticated features from working.
The Contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check for automated abuse. It loads a Cloudflare security script and sends verification information to Cloudflare. Security-cookie behaviour can depend on the challenge and deployed provider configuration.
This website
The current marketing implementation does not integrate advertising analytics, a marketing analytics vendor or a cookie-choice banner. A fresh unauthenticated Staging inspection in September 2026 found no first-party cookies or local-storage entries while viewing the marketing pages and Contact form. This observation does not describe every signed-in session or security challenge.
The Staging environment also loads Vercel’s review toolbar. This review tooling is distinct from the customer-facing application.
Before publication, confirm the full cookie and storage inventory, purposes, providers and lifetimes across authenticated journeys and security challenges. Any non-essential storage must receive the appropriate consent treatment before it is introduced.
Browser controls
Your browser settings let you inspect, remove or block cookies and site data. Removing application storage may also clear preferences or temporary drafts. Browser controls do not replace any consent choices required for future non-essential technologies.
